Looking after your dental health

General dental treatments to ensure your teeth and gums work in harmony for a healthy smile

Your dental health matters

A stunning smile begins with excellent dental health, which is why having access to advanced general dental care is important for everyone.

Here at Regenix Health, we are pleased to provide the following treatments as part of our general dentistry services:

General dental care begins with a routine dental check-up where your dentist will assess the overall health of your teeth, mouth, and gums. They will discuss their findings with you and recommend oral care tips to follow at home or suggest treatments that may be required to improve your dental health. This may be due to plaque buildup or signs of gum disease, all of which can be treated right here at Regenix Health by one of our dental hygienists or periodontal specialists.

Dental check-ups

Dental check-ups are the foundation of your dental care.

Whether you want to enhance your smile with Invisalign, brighten your teeth with whitening, or achieve a flawless look with dental veneers, everything starts—and continues—with regular dental check-ups.

These appointments allow us to routinely assess the health of your teeth, gums, and soft tissues, while also providing personalized oral health advice and treatment recommendations as needed. Most patients are advised to schedule a check-up every six months. This regular monitoring helps us maintain a complete picture of your dental health and catch any potential concerns early—before they turn into more serious (and costly) issues!

Dental hygiene

Dental hygiene appointments are just as essential as your regular check-ups.

These visits allow us to thoroughly clean the areas in your mouth where plaque tends to build up—places that even the most diligent brushing can miss.

This is completely normal and happens to everyone… even dental hygienists!

Everyone has hard-to-reach areas in their mouth, but your hygienist can identify these spots and provide personalized advice on how to keep them clean. By combining regular dental visits with a great at-home oral care routine, you can significantly reduce the risk of gum disease and maintain a healthy, beautiful smile.

Gum disease

Gum disease occurs when plaque builds up on the teeth and causes inflammation of the gums.

If we discover it at this stage, a regular dental hygiene appointment followed by a more robust cleaning regime at home will reverse the problem.

If gum disease is left untreated, it can lead to periodontitis. This is when the inflamed gum pulls away from the tooth and leaves a space for bacteria to enter below the gum line. Periodontitis cannot be cured but it can be managed. We have a specialist periodontist on site who will work with the hygiene team and your dentist to help keep your periodontitis under control.
